What we know about you from visiting our website

Our web server automatically records general information about your visit — server address, date and time, pages accessed and documents downloaded, the previous site visited, and the type of browser used. How and why does Bluegum Dubbo collect and use your information

We collect personal information directly from you when you contact us, raise a query or complaint, sign up to a mailing list, or engage in business activities. Purposes may include: responding to requests for information and general enquiries; informing you of activities and events; responding to enquiries and complaints; when you apply for a career with us. Types collected: name and contact details and other relevant information.

From time to time we engage in research and collect data in an anonymised form, including data from overseas providers/research institutions on our behalf (generally anonymised).

Third party suppliers

We collect and record personal information about contractors/subcontractors (and potential ones) and their representatives supplying goods/services to us.

If you apply for a career with Bluegum Dubbo

We collect name, contact details, qualifications and work history (generally directly from you), may collect from third parties (e.g. referees), and before offering a position may collect tax file number, superannuation info and background-check info (e.g. police clearances, working with children checks).

Your address

We don’t know your email unless you give it. We’ll only record it if you send us a message. If you supply email/postal address we might send info on new projects/events; to opt out email bookings@patriciacoffee.mom.

Images

If you attend an event we manage/deliver, we may take images or audio-visual recordings identifying you and use them for promotional purposes.

Marketing

You consent to us using your personal information to send you information including promotional material about us, our products/services and those of third parties, now and in the future, by direct mail, telemarketing, email, SMS and MMS. Sensitive information

In limited circumstances we may collect sensitive information (e.g. health information if you are injured at an event, in an emergency or with your consent).

Can you deal with us anonymously

You may remain anonymous or use a pseudonym where lawful and practicable. Sometimes we require your real name (e.g. career applications). If you choose not to provide personal information we may not be able to provide requested information/products/services.

How do we hold information

We aim to keep your personal information secure — reasonable steps to protect from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access/modification/disclosure; destroy/de-identify info no longer required. Physical security (locks, security systems), computer/network security (firewalls), SSL/HTTPS encryption wherever possible.

We may use it internally and share with people/organisations who need it as part of working with us — internal divisions/business units/departments; organisations/individuals who assist us in providing products and services on our behalf; representatives, agents or contractors appointed in the ordinary operation of our business (data storage/processing, printing, mailing, marketing, planning and product/service development).

We do not share except per this policy or as permitted by the Privacy Act (incl. APPs), and we do not sell your personal information to anyone. Some information may be disclosed/transferred/stored/processed/used overseas (incl. USA and UK) — you consent to this without us being responsible under the Privacy Act for such use/breach.

How can you access or seek correction of your personal information

Email bookings@patriciacoffee.mom to request access (no charge to request, but may be charged for reasonable time/expense in compiling). Let us know of errors/discrepancies or changed details and we’ll take reasonable steps to correct/update. We may decline requests in certain circumstances per the APPs and will give reasons.

What should you do if you have a complaint about the handling of your personal information

Contact us any time by emailing bookings@patriciacoffee.mom. We’ll consider your questions/concerns/complaint, may ask for more info and the outcome you seek. If we can’t respond within one (1) week we will do our best to let you know.
